Why connecting is safe
Dwellth connects through SnapTrade. Here's what that means for your money and your data.
What we see and keep
- Read-only. We can't trade or move money.
- We read your holdings once a day, work out each one's share, then throw the amounts away.
- We keep only tickers and a rounded share of each. No dollar amounts, quantities or account numbers, ever.
- Disconnect a brokerage or delete your house any time, in settings.
About SnapTrade
- SnapTrade is SOC 2 Type II certified.
- Your investments stay at your brokerage. SnapTrade doesn't hold them.
- Where your broker supports it, you sign in with your broker directly and we never see your password. Otherwise SnapTrade encrypts your login and doesn't share it with us.
- Read-only access means viewing accounts and holdings. Placing trades would need a separate permission we never ask for.
- Over 1 million investment accounts and US$40B in assets connected through SnapTrade (October 2025).
- Run by Passiv Inc., a Fredericton, New Brunswick company founded in 2017.
Works with 40+ brokerages, including
